Job Description

Fit and position weldments having a number of parts, using welding fixtures and jigs where applicable.

Methods are usually prescribed or standardized but welder may select and vary techniques within limits of recognized procedures.

Requires a thorough knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals.

Usually work with medium size bases and frames, structural steel, and plate steel weldments of varied description, etc.

Requires knowledge of welding principles and techniques.

Required to pass a 1” FCAW and 3/8” GMAW welding test.

Must have a good understanding of welding symbols.

Work from drawings and job layouts.

Use rule, square, templates, and gauges.

Take direction and receive approval from supervisor.

Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification.

Operate cranes and hoists.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification.

Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.

MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.

Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications

Required to pass a 1” FCAW and 3/8” GMAW welding test.

Set up welding cells for serial production runs.

Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.

Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

Follow all company rules and policies.

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.

Follow all safety rules and quality standards.

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Prepare product for shipment.

Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 60 pounds), or using a hoist.

Job Description

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required or able to obtain.

Clean driving record with no moving violations.

Must pass background check and drug test.

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.

Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.

Pick-up and safely transport goods to intended destination.

Ensure contents are properly secured in truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury.

Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.

Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery.

Communicate with dispatch as needed.

Confirm that the contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document.

Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.

Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.

Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc).

Adhere to company rules and regulations.

Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.

Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.

Make safety a priority at all times.

Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time.

Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
